ENEVA concludes early settlement of Itaqui’s debt, in the amount of R$ 307 million, and disburses new debentures tranche in Parnaíba III, in the amount of R$ 162 million

Rio de Janeiro, February 6, 2018 – ENEVA S.A. (“ENEVA” or “Company”) (BM&FBOVESPA: ENEV3, GDR I: ENEVY), in compliance with the provisions in article 157, paragraph 4, of Law 6.404/1976 and to the provisions in CVM Instruction No. 358/2002, as amended, communicates to its shareholders and to the general market that its subsidiary Itaqui Geração de Energia S.A.

(“Itaqui”) concluded the early settlement of the restated debt balance of the installments of its loan agreements with banks Votorantim and Bradesco, resulting from onlending of funds to BNDES, in the total amount of R$ 306.8 million (R$ 156.6 million at the cost of TJLP plus 4.8% per annum and R$ 150.2 million at the cost of IPCA plus 12.1% per annum).

The early settlement of Itaqui’s debt was partly funded through the disbursement of R$ 162.3 million related to the second tranche of the 2nd Issuance of simple debentures, not convertible into shares, for distribution with restricted efforts, with the cost of 100% of CDI plus 2.95% per annum and maturity on December 05, 2024 of Parnaíba III Geração de Energia S.A. (“Debentures”), subject matter of the Notice to the Market disclosed on December 13, 2017 by the Company. The Debentures shall be amortized in twelve (12) consecutive half-annual installments, as from June, 2019.
